This playset includes a baby doctor environment featuring the Barbie Baby Doctor doll and her adorable baby doll patients! Some of the storytelling pieces have a clip-on feature that lets Barbie doll hold the item for realistic play! When my two sisters and I visited the New York location, located at 19 Fulton Street in the Seaport, on a steamy 90-degree day last week, we were imagining walking into something like a life-size version of the Dream House we fought over as children. And then this Barbie set was announced and I couldn’t have been happier to finally get a whole coffee related set! To be honest, I can’t really judge the food because we could only eat cakes, but as desserts go, they were pretty sickly.

It was unexpectedly delightful to create my edible masterpiece, and delicious, too—the pink funfetti cupcake was moist, with a nice vanilla flavor, and the glittery frosting had a pleasant whipped texture. Most of the time you’ll have no idea what’s going on: At the hospital-themed restaurant, our meal ended with a game where, if you rolled a dice and got an odd number, you’d have to have a syringe full of soy sauce and vinegar squirted on your tongue!

When removing packaging it was prone to removing backdrop too therefore not really available to use as a pristine backdrop. Assuming you like cilantro, it’s a nice balance of flavors: The tahini sauce had a pronounced smokiness, the pickled onions added a pop of pink and tasty tangy and sweet notes, and the greens and avocado contributed a welcome freshness. Both soap dispensers were broken; one was missing a top, and the other was lying in pieces in the sink, as if someone had felt too much Kenergy and smashed it violently. There’s now a Friends themed restaurant that has recently opened, which is all done up like Central Perk.

And we had certain benchmarks in mind: We were not strangers to doll-themed dining, and we had paid way more money than seemed reasonable for this “immersive dining experience” in advance.
