About this deal

It’s nice to put on from time to time, but I have so many other choices. For many guys, this will do extremely well as an every day, signature scent. It’s an interesting scent and one that was a landmark in the history of men’s fragrance. Notes included: sandalwood, lavender, citrus, cinnamon, leather, vetiver, oakmoss, cedar, fir, jasmine, coriander, amber, juniper, and more

Drakkar Noir is a pleasant scent provided it’s not over-sprayed. For me, there’s something in it that triggers my allergies. If you suffer from fragrance allergies, you might want to give this one a pass. Personally, I can only tolerate this fragrance if it’s worn lightly. Heavier use triggers a migraine. Romanelli, David (2009). Yeah Dave's Guide to Livin' the Moment: Getting to Ecstasy Through Wine, Chocolate and Your iPod Playlist. Potter/Ten Speed/Harmony/Rodale. p.14. ISBN 9780767931625. Already, we can visually see that Drakkar Noir offers a complex scent profile. There were no shortcuts taken with this one.

SAFETY NET PRICE

However, it comes at a very reasonable and affordable price, so I would say that it’s totally worth it. Cardona, Mercedes M. (24 February 2002). "L'Oreal launches ad effort for Drakkar Noir fragrance". AdAge . Retrieved 22 April 2018. Another note that shines in the beginning, is the super crisp mint note. It brings a definite cooled air to the composition, it’s that usual sharp spice, which contrasts extremely well versus the lavender, oak moss, and leather notes. Drakkar Noir is an aromatic fougere fragrance. The top notes are lavender, bergamot, mint, rosemary, lemon, basil, artemisia. In the middle, Wargnye used coriander, carnation, juniper, wormwoood, jasmine, angelica/ He finished it off with leather, fir, sandalewood, oakmoss, vitiver, cedar, resins, amber, patchoili. To start off, Caesars Man has a lot of overlap with Drakkar in terms of the notes incorporated and notes detectable.

It’s pretty close, in terms of smell, and the performance is respectable for the low price. Not the best, but a very nice impersonation. Don’t expect a complete recreation of the original, but if you’re on a strict budget, it can be worthwhile. The overall aroma is pretty enjoyable, with the lavender and bergamot opening along with a dark, green, and woody base.Owing to its greener, fresher appeal, I feel like Caesars Man has more usability than Drakkar Noir, which was best for the cooler seasons.
